AAM Group Hires David Garmenn to Lead Engine Pro Group

The Johnson City, TN-based distribution group has selected David Garmenn to serve as president of Engine Pro Group and vice president of Engine Pro.

The AAM Group, the Johnson City, TN-based distribution group, has selected David Garmenn to serve as the president of Engine Pro Group and vice president of Engine Pro.

“David’s experience and accomplishments well-recommended him for the roles we needed him to fill,” said AAM President Tim Odom. “We are thrilled to have someone of his qualifications and insight to help lead EPGI and Engine Pro into the future.”

Garmenn previously served as product and project manager at Dana/MAHLE for many years, overseeing multiple light- and medium-duty engine parts categories, and managed a team responsible for more than 40,000 SKUs. He left the automotive space to join Paladin Attachments (now Stanley Black & Decker), where he led the building of an eCommerce solution that increased customer access to service parts and lowered sales costs. He was later named director of channel marketing to manage pricing during the volatile pandemic period.
