Joe Gibbs Driven Introduces New Hot Rod Oil Created from NASCAR Technology

Denny Hamlin to Showcase New Product on No. 18 Toyota in NASCAR Nationwide Series Race at Dover

Since its inception in November 2004, Joe Gibbs Driven, the automotive aftermarket division of Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), has created of some of the top oil products in racing.  A little over three years later, Joe Gibbs Driven expands it motorsports reach with the launch of Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod Oil.  

Designed specifically for hot rod and street rod applications, Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod Oil was born from the company’s successful formulation of high-performance racing oils and lubricants – products developed by JGR’s three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship-winning engine builder Mark Cronquist and used by JGR’s Sprint Cup and NASCAR Nationwide Series teams.

Denny Hamlin, a four-time Sprint Cup winner who honed his skills in the Nationwide Series with JGR, will carry the colors of the new Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod Oil in Saturday’s Heluva Good! 200 Nationwide Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.

It’s a reunion of sorts as Hamlin’s first career Nationwide Series race came with Joe Gibbs Driven in November 2004 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.  Hamlin’s impressive eighth-place finish launched his career, but it also served as the launch for Joe Gibbs Driven and its line of racing oils and lubricants.  

“It’s fun to hook Denny and Joe Gibbs Driven up again and look back at what both have accomplished," said JGR team president J.D. Gibbs, "We have high goals for Denny and Joe Gibbs Driven, and we look forward to what both are capable of in the future.”
